Nude Dudes Candles was founded in January 2016 by Chris Bateman and Ryan Underwood. Both of whom love nothing more than winding down from a long day by lighting a couple of candles and relaxing with a cheeky Netflix session.
Since last year’s release of Chemsex, described by the Guardian as a “scary but valuable documentary”, the drug-fuelled sexual practices of some gay men have increasingly become a matter of heated debate, both within the gay community and in the national press.
But unfortunately neither last year’s documentary nor most news stories since have managed to suspend moral judgement when addressing the topic. “Chemsex” is not receiving the depth of critical analysis it badly needs.
According to most accounts, including the one put forward by the documentary, gay men are driven to long sessions of “chemsex” because they are lonely and suffer from internalised homophobia.
For this shoot, Vincent returned to Epping Forest, just east of London, one of his favourite location. The dappled light through the leaves in the stunning mature forest coupled with the moss covered glades made for a stunning setting.
The Buckley-Walkers posed for still shots and kindly agreed to be filmed as well. While the location and production may have been contrived, the sensual energy between these two beautiful men as spontaneous and completely natural.
As if we needed more reason’s that being Gay or bisexual men and having more sex that our straight counterparts is a benefit…

A study on ejaculation and prostate cancer risk, which made a big splash at last year’s annual meeting of the American Urological Association (AUA), was published online March 29 in European Urology.
The publication provides greater detail on the main finding: that men might be able to lower their risk for prostate cancer by ejaculating frequently.
“This large prospective study provides the strongest evidence to date of a beneficial role of ejaculation in prevention of prostate cancer,” write the researchers, led by Jennifer Rider, ScD, MPH, a cancer epidemiologist at the Boston University School of Public Health.
However, another expert threw the requisite cold water on any firm conclusion.
“Association does not mean causation, so one has to be cautious about interpretation,” Janet Stanford, PhD, MPH, a prostate cancer researcher at the Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Center in Seattle, who was not involved in the study, said about the observational data.
The data come from 31,925 men in the prospective Health Professionals Follow-up Study, who were followed from 1992 to 2010. The average age of the men in 1992 was about 59 years. …more
AccidentalBear did a nice job with a bunch of reminders on mens health this month; Check out the full post here
A few highlights include:
Keeping your equipment “clean” – and thats as in soap and water clean
Self-Exams for testicular cancer
How to keep your “woodie”, wooden
April is STD awareness month – that includes oral, anal screening as well as looking for discharges
My fav quote:
Use your penis to keep it healthy
Make ejaculation part of your daily routine. Here’s why: a large Harvard study of nearly 30,000 men found the risk of prostate cancer was 33 per cent lower in men who’d ejaculated at least 21 times per month, compared to those who ejaculated only 4-7 times per month. This included ejaculations during sex, masturbation and, um, “nocturnal emissions”. Time to play catch up.
From 2014: Gay Bikers Bump Uglies and Trip Out in Holopaw’s Latest ‘Dirty Boots’ Video
The name Holopaw might not ring a bell for you if you’re a troglodyte with no taste. To fill your dumb ass in, the Gainesville, Florida–based band is fronted by queer indie rock veteran John Orth, who performed alongside Issac Brock of Modest Mouse in his weird-as-fuck side project, Ugly Casanova. Over the years, Holopaw has put out a bunch of dope releases. But their latest album, Academy Songs: Vol. 1, is especially weird and off-kilter and awesome.
For the video for the single “Dirty Boots,” the band teamed up with Brooklyn-based filmmaker Adam Baran to make a beautifully shot short. The video features narration by legendary and semi-reclusive 70s gay porn star Peter Berlin (Nights in Black Leather, That Boy), and it stars Dominic J. Fournier, the man behind the many penis and butthole pictures on the ABeardedBoy Tumblr page. According to the press release, “the film celebrates the ever-evolving queer landscape of NYC, the historically iconic erotic archetype of the leather/biker gang, and the characters portrayed in the songs on Holopaw’s album.” For us, this video is the perfect excuse we need to 86 that creepy fluffer we hire for boner-focused fashion shoots, like this one. Who needs a gimp with no gag reflex when this video’s got enough crotch and butt shots to raise a homo chubby like a Caterpillar hammerhead construction crane?
While I am more flexible on “gay marriage”, not being one who is the marrying kind – I feel people should have a choice. But much the film deals with so many other topic themes that the over all package is quite rich.

Trending big in some circles this week is the lastest news on who we can fuck and how!
Federal Court Rules You Have No Constitutional Right to Engage in 100% Consensual Rough Sex
Per the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom (NCSF)“The purpose of government is to assist in the protection of rights, not to hinder them. If one consents to waive their rights of physical protection, within the rules of a certain context, ie. MMA Fighting, Boxing, Wrestling, BDSM, et al., the government is violating their right to consent.”
The work done by the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom is more important than ever. Http://ncsfreedom.org
The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia released its decision in the case of Doe v. George Mason University et al. and, for some reason, they felt compelled to weigh in on whether there is a constitutional right to engage in consensual BDSM sex. Their answer is, ‘no.’
Back in the day I worked with several of the old standards for gay male erotica that specialized content with Bear, Powerplay and Drummer Magazines. I knew Ron back then as well – so was fun to see him on the episode of the Underbears Podcast. In his undies no less talking about his new book; The Biggest Lover. (Ron’s starts around 11 min in)
The Bear Bones Books imprint of Lethe Press proudly presents its 28th title, The Biggest Lover: Big-Boned Men’s Erotica for Chubs and Chasers, edited by noted gay and bi men’s erotica anthologist R. Jackson.
Not every gay man is obsessed with twinks who list the number of visible rib bones on their Grindr profile. Or men who can remember the number of reps at the gym but not their phone number. Some of us appreciate buying in bulk and that includes looking for love. Or just plain sex. Thank goodness for Bear culture which embraces girth. During Bear Week in Provincetown the stores do not even bother to sell clothes smaller than an XL and a man’s virility is often like the potency of moonshine: the more Xs on the jug the better, so XXXL is a chub in high demand. It has taken too long for an erotica anthology to feature such men. It is our hope that readers who felt denied of attention and affection will read these stories and realize that love has no weight limit, no threshold, and neither should self-esteem. As Girth & Mirth founding father Reed Wilgoren stated, “Just as people are coming out every day—men and women realizing their sexuality—new Bears and new Chubbies and new chasers are also evolving in the world. There have to be people waiting to embrace them and show them the way, much as who helped me to become what I am and who I am today.” This groundbreaking anthology of 21 compelling stories of big masculine love, including outstanding fiction from renowned, award-winning authors as well as fresh voices, is sure to entertain, inform, and stimulate everyone who loves big men.
With the very hot Hard Swallow Kickstarter ending (good job Justin Hall) another is picking up pace to promote queer art – this one is looking at promoting Queer Japan. Pal Graham Kolbeins shared with me a new project he is championing on kickstarter; http://kck.st/1TeKRIb
According to Graham; “The Queer Japan Project is a multimedia documentary providing portraits of a diverse group of individuals from across the spectrum of gender and sexuality in Japan. Artists, activists, community leaders, and everyday people will share an intimate look into the everyday triumphs and struggles of being a sexual minority in modern Japan. Through in-depth interviews and slice-of-life vignettes, Queer Japan will celebrate queer expression in Japan in many of its dazzling, prismatic varieties.”
The Project/film will be in Japanese with English subtitles, and then when there’s English language stuff it will have Japanese subtitles. And here are a few stills! The rich history and creativity out of Japan, when coupled with the free expression by queer artists should make this Kickstarter Queer Japan one I sure hope makes it!
According to the site; This a short game where you spank the heck out of a dude and learn about how BDSM communities attempt to formalize consent / caring. I was really interested in how we can make games about intimacy without a “kindness coins = sex cutscene” trope, and how we can use expressive gestures to roleplay / think about pain and intimacy. (For the record, I don’t think my game gets it right, and it has a lot of flaws… this stuff is hard to design!)
“Older gay men understand this in a tradition of cruising and gay bathhouses, while younger gay men might narrativize it more as a reversal of bullying dynamics in high school gym. Above all, the locker room is understood normally as a place of danger, where you could be discovered or outed or beaten for “looking at someone the wrong way” even if you were just minding your own business — and there’s nowhere to hide, not even in your own clothes.”
The post on the site linked above does a good job with the details – so I will leave you with the sample video
If selfies argue that all faces are worthy of memory, dick pics show how all cocks are worthy of consideration. In the vein of noble projects like Critique My Dick Pic, we wish to “take back” the dick pic from the clutches of creepy congressmen and tabloid headlines. Popular discourse rightfully centers the consent of dick pic recipients, but government mass surveillance (Can They See My Dick?) also threatens the consent of dick pic senders, as state spy complexes admit they “collect it all” with almost no oversight or transparency.
To help re-imagine what dick pics can do for society, Cobra Club gives everyone, even people without dicks, access to the means of (dick pic) production though a fully-adjustable virtual 3D dick and versatile camera controls. It is both no one’s dick and everyone’s dick. Perhaps the dick pic is democracy itself…
“Um, we met on a, um…social website,” said defendant Adam Murphy, who was being sued for not paying back a loan from is considerably older, um…friend. “Um, it’s actually called Grindr…Grindr, it’s an app. For your phone or your iPad. It’s a social app that tells you where homosexual males are and their proximity. To where you are.”
